Based at the Bartlett School of Architecture within the Bio-Integrated Design Lab, Robin’s practice is driven by a material-led design process and a commitment to infusing biological and living sensibilities into everyday experiences. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UCL.
He is the co-founder of Loci Studios, a design studio specializing in production and stage design for music events and installations. Their portfolio includes creating stages for festivals and designing immersive installations that merge sound, light, and spatial narratives. Robin is also the founder of a startup focused on reimagining dancefloors and developing net-zero, energy-independent venues, pushing the boundaries of sustainability in cultural spaces.
Currently, Robin's research explores novel functionally graded materials, enzymatic crosslinking, and advanced additive manufacturing. His work reflects a deep engagement with material innovation and the potential of interdisciplinary design to transform our interaction with the built environment.
